Guests enjoy panoramic views at this resort complex set atop a 200-foot cliff in Kauai's tranquil Princeville community; Hanalei Bay is just three miles to the east. The resort offers a pool as well as a pavilion with charcoal barbecue grills; the front-desk staff can arrange activities such as helicopter and boat excursions.

A steep, paved, switchback path leads down the 200-foot cliff to a secluded beach that's good for snorkeling when the water is calm. Comprising 98 units in 12 two- and three-story buildings, the resort displays the handsome plantation-style, wood-shingle-roof design popular on Kauai.
